The JOYful Educator Connection stands as a vibrant and innovative initiative created to nurture and celebrate our dedicated NOLA-PS educators.

Rooted in one of Superintendent Dr. Avis William's core values—JOY—we recognized the significance of appreciating our educators who often go unnoticed. These connections provide a precious opportunity for our educators to unite and relax after tirelessly serving our community.

Each month, we curate a distinctive array of professional development workshops, wellness activities, and personalized resources to cater to their unique needs. This exclusive approach not only facilitates personal connections among educators but also equips them with invaluable tools and support that leave a profound impact both inside and outside.

NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) is excited to announce a new addition to the JOYful Educator Connection (JEC) - Monthly Virtual Professional Development Sessions for teachers! Starting this month, our JEC Lead Teachers will guide 45-minute virtual sessions, providing an additional avenue for connection, support, and collaboration for educators. Join fellow educators on the last Monday of each month for the Joyful Educator Connection virtual support sessions. Click here to sign up!

The JOYFUL Educator Connection warmly welcomes all NOLA-PS educators, providing a dedicated space for community building, mutual support, collaboration, and the celebration of JOY in teaching. Our JOYful Educator Connections occur monthly on the last Tuesday of the month, at various venues. Be sure to secure your spot as the event is open to the first 100 RSVPs. Details will be shared via social media and email before the event.
