If your child currently attends NOLA Public Schools and you have a concern or complaint about his/her school or you are a community member with a concern, district staff are here to help. Families and community members can call 504-304-3520 to be connected to a team member who will hear your concern or complaint and assist with next steps.

We believe student and parent concerns regarding any school-related matter are best addressed and resolved at the school level first. Every school has a process for receiving and responding to parent concerns that is included in your handbook and/or available on your school’s website.

If there is a concern related to student rights and/or that the school may not be following law or policy, the district will directly engage to understand the matter and hold schools accountable where appropriate.

The district is available at any stage in the process to help you. If you have an issue or concern, please call 504-304-3520 to be directed to a team member to assist you today.
