ABC Tour: October Tour Schedule

Join me for my last ABC Community Meeting October 24th at Rosenwald Community Center. At this meeting, I'd like to share a recap of my overall tour and our next steps establishing solution circles. Click here to watch the replay of our first meeting in New Orleans East at PJ's Coffee on Read Blvd.

I'm also hosting a virtual ABC Meeting with teachers and high school scholars. I look forward to engaging with them and having a collaborative conversation about NOLA-PS

NOLA-PS CAREs Kickoff

This Friday, the Office of School Support and Improvement will host a second convening of our mental health partners and behavioral health leads. This convening will give me an opportunity to hear from them regarding their mental health priorities for scholars and staff.  Additionally, this convening will be our kick-off for the NOLA-PS CAREs initiative, The CARE Fair. The CARE Fair is an opportunity to connect stakeholders with mental health supports in the greater New Orleans area. Think of it as a one-stop shop for families to learn about the many mental health and well-being offerings available for their scholars. The work builds on previous meetings of area providers by connecting them directly with those who may be in need or crisis. More details about NOLA-PS CAREs and the CARE Fair will be provided during a kickoff press conference that will follow the convening.

Talk SUPT

Stay connected with all things NOLA-PS. Beginning this month, I will host a weekly live chat, Talk SUPT, as an opportunity for us to remain engaged and connected. Tune in to the NOLA-PS YouTube Channel for weekly updates from me and discussions with special guests. Talk SUPT will air Friday's at 11:00am.
