The Leah Chase School to Host Enrollment Day for the 2024-2025 School Year


WHAT: The Leah Chase School is excited to announce an Enrollment & Registration Day for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. All scholars who enroll are guaranteed a seat!!


This new community school is NOLA Public Schools first, new traditional direct-run school in nearly two decades! Our goal is to shape the next generation of young scholars, leaders, and culture bearers in New Orleans, drawing inspiration from our local community.


WHEN: Saturday, June 29, 2024 ● 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM


WHERE: Mahalia Jackson Elementary, 2405 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113


Required Documents for enrollment & registration:

  • Parent/guardian identification
  • Proof of residency
  • Child's birth certificate
  • Most recent report card (if not entering kindergarten)
  • Immunization records


UNIFORM VOUCHERS: Families who complete the registration process will receive uniform vouchers on-site.
