Media Invited to Food Distribution to Families at McDonogh 35 High School


What:

As school leaders and NOLA-PS continue to assess the condition of school buildings, food will be distributed to families today to help them with basic needs during the recovery from Hurricane Ida.


MEDIA CAN RSVP TO COMMUNICATIONS@NOLAPUBLICSCHOOLS.COM IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING. WE ALSO ASK THAT YOU RESPECT SOCIAL DISTANCING AND THAT MEMBERS OF YOUR TEAM WEAR PROTECTIVE MASKS ONSITE. OUR TEAM WILL FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES AS WELL.



When:

Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021. 5-7 p.m. Officials will be available for interviews at 5 p.m.

Why:

The welfare of our school community during the recovery is our top priority. NOLA-PS continues to plan for reopening schools as soon as power is restored, but our families can use resources such as these for basic needs while that work is underway.
