
Lerone Crayton
Chief School Support Officer
Lerone Crayton is a native New Orleanian and a proud graduate of Warren Easton Senior High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Communications from Dillard University and earned a Special Education Teaching Certification (Kâ12 Mild/Moderate) from the University of New Orleans (now LSU New Orleans). He is currently pursuing his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Tulane University. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the field of education to his work, most recently leading the district's discipline initiatives. As Chief School Support Officer, Lerone oversees the direction and implementation of the district's strategic support efforts for The Leah Chase School and charter schools. A lifelong learner, husband, and proud father of two, his continued commitment to student and school achievement is grounded in the core belief that "all students are worthy of excellence!"
