(NEW ORLEANS – October 27, 2020) – NOLA Public Schools (NOLA-PS) will cancel all in-person learning tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28, in advance of Zeta. Schools will directly inform families of their individual plans for what programming may be offered remotely, due to the weather. Families should contact their schools for the latest information.

NOLA-PS central office will not be staffed after noon tomorrow, Wednesday, October 28th.

Due to the storm, food service will not be offered to families for pick-up Wednesday, October 28. Announcements will be made when they resume.

The District will continue to monitor the storm and will reassess needs for extended closures, distance learning, or announce a return to in-person classes as we continue to learn more on the potential impacts to our area throughout the evening and tomorrow.

NOLA-PS reminds everyone to remain vigilant and to monitor the City’s announcements for updates regarding Zeta. NOLA-PS will post all storm related announcements on its social media as well.
