EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE

The Orleans Parish School Board shall be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and care of any School Board property, including equipment and other moveable property, in the control of the School Board.  The School Board shall delegate responsibility to the Superintendent to properly maintain all such property and see that it is in good, safe, working order.  The Superintendent shall make sure that the care of such property complies with applicable laws, ordinances and regulations, including building and fire safety code regulations.
