1.1 Call to Order – Roll Call

The Orleans Parish School Board Retreat was called to order at 8:12am by President Parker. The following board members were present: Olin G. Parker, Carlos Luis Zervigon, Dr. Donaldo Batiste, Leila Jacobs Eames, and Nolan Marshall, Jr. Ethan Ashley and Katherine Baudouin were  absent. Board Counsel Ashley Heilprin was also present.

-Interpretation services were acknowledged.

1.2 Rules for Public Comment

Board Counsel provided a high-level overview of the OPSB guidelines for public comment/participation at OPSB Meetings.

1.3 Adoption of the Agenda

Motion to adopt the agenda as provided.

Motion by Mr. Marshall, second by Mr. Zervigon

• Final resolution: Motion passes

• Yeas: Mr. Parker, Mr. Zervigon, Dr. Batiste, Ms. Eames, and Mr. Marshall

• Nays: None

• Absent: Mr. Ashley, Ms. Baudouin

• Abstain: None

Board members engaged in a facilitative dialogue and activities led by facilitator/consultant Ted Quant.
